At Rudd Vision, exceptional patient care is our priority. What sets us apart is our personalized approach to vision correction surgery, where each patient’s unique goals are at the forefront. We take the time to discuss your specific needs and ensure that the best surgical option is selected to help you achieve clearer vision. Instead of the “assembly line approach,” we prioritize individualized care, with every procedure performed in the comfort of our office — no hospital visits or trips to an Ambulatory Surgery Center required. Our goal is to provide a seamless, comfortable experience from start to finish.
LASIK is a popular and effective procedure for correcting refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. At Rudd Vision, Dr. Jay Rudd uses state-of-the-art laser technology to reshape the cornea, allowing light to focus more accurately on the retina, resulting in clearer vision. The procedure is quick, with most patients experiencing significant improvement in their vision almost immediately. With over 25,000 vision correction surgeries performed, Dr. Rudd’s extensive experience and use of advanced technology allow him to provide a highly personalized LASIK experience customized to each patient’s needs.
SMILE LASIK is a minimally invasive vision correction procedure that offers a gentler alternative to traditional LASIK. Using a femtosecond laser, Dr. Jay Rudd creates a small, lens-shaped piece of tissue within the cornea, which is then removed through a tiny incision. This technique preserves the strength of the cornea and results in faster recovery times and less discomfort. SMILE LASIK is particularly beneficial for patients who are concerned about creating a LASIK flap, or worsening dry eyes. At Rudd Vision, we are committed to offering the latest advancements in vision correction.
PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) is a vision correction procedure that is particularly suited for patients who may not be ideal candidates for LASIK due to thin corneas or other factors. Unlike LASIK, PRK reshapes the cornea by gently removing its outer layer, allowing light to focus more accurately on the retina. While the recovery period is longer than LASIK, PRK delivers similar visual outcomes and is a great option for those who prefer a flapless procedure. At Rudd Vision, Dr. Jay Rudd leverages his extensive experience and meticulous technique to deliver effective, customized PRK treatments adapted to each patient’s specific needs.
EVO ICL™ is an advanced vision correction option for patients with nearsightedness, with or without astigmatism. . This procedure involves implanting a thin, flexible lens inside the eye, positioned behind the iris and in front of the natural lens. EVO ICL™ provides excellent visual outcomes without permanently altering the cornea. The lens is removable and offers the potential for better night vision and UV protection. Dr. Jay Rudd’s 15 years of experience with EVO allows him to perform the EVO ICL™ procedure with precision, offering a revolutionary solution for clear vision.
At Rudd Vision, we offer a full spectrum of vision correction options tailored to meet your unique needs. Whether you're seeking LASIK, SMILE LASIK, EVO ICL™, or PRK, our advanced procedures are designed to enhance your vision with precision and care. Dr. Jay Rudd’s extensive experience and commitment to the latest technologies ensure that you receive the best possible outcomes.
